Auld Lang Syne

Now that it is 2006, I decided to celebrate it with the ever so famous New Years' song that has very little to do with bringing in the new year.  It does, however, celebrate the olden times.  This Scottish song is about remembering the "good ol days".

The Dr. Joe Song

This is the infamous song written about my Christian Home teacher Dr. Joe Brumfield.

Acappella Groove

This was one of the first songs I ever recorded.  I recently revamped it to this style.  The original was about 30 seconds long.  I like this version better, but I may eventually redo it in its original style.

Train Wreck

I decided for this one to use as many diminished chords as i could.  I think i built 3 diminished chords on top of each other to simulate the train whistle.  I also sang a really low bass part to simulate the train itself.

Vocal Percussion Groove

For this one, I have two layers of Vocal Percussion.  One doing the kick and snare drums, and another doing the high hat.  I also sang a bass part to go along with it.

Cereal Girl

I wrote this song a few years ago when we got on the conversation of ackward times to meet your true love.  Someone suggested meeting in the Cafeteria.  I couldn't help but write a song about meeting my true love in the cereal line of the Harding University Resturant and Lounge (HURL).  I recorded this a few summers ago while I was getting ready for church one Sunday morning.  It is me at my core of craziness and improvisation.  The quality is not real great, but a real gem indeed.

Jelly

This is a song I learned from an elementary school in Scotland.  Jelly is what they call Jell-o.  It is a fun little song.  You ask someone what is on their plate and you build on it.  The first one is always Jelly though.  enjoy.

No Other Foundation

This is a seventeen measure chorale.  I decided it was high time I wrote one becuase I love them so much.  The text is an adaptation of 1 Corinthians 3:11.  It can also be found on Harding's campus on the Ezell Building.

Jingle Bells

This is for for you holiday pleasure.  This is me singing and doing body percussion.  It is pretty silly for sure.  Good for a smile.

I bet PETA hates this song

Maybe this song is a bit violent, but I thought it was pretty funny.
